Harry Hay
Harry Hay was born on April 7, 1912, in Worthing, Sussex, England. He is best known as the founder of the Mattachine Society in Los Angeles in 1950. In 1974, he was interviewed by Outhistory founder Jonathan Ned Katz; see Harry Hay: Founding the Mattachine Society, 1948-1953, by Jonathan Ned Katz.
